David is a young American biker. The experience as a soldier in Iraq had strong impression on him and on his return he decided to leave for Europe in search of the “Step shadow”, a biking path. In Europe, arrived in the vicinity of a cabin aboard his mountain bike, David had an argument with two hunters (and Fred Buck) to defend Angeline, a girl that they were annoying. In the confusion caused by the situation, Angeline escapes from the hut without a trace. David tries to pursue her with nno result. That same night David stumbles again in Angeline, hosting it in his tent. In the intimacy of the tent the two confide: David tells Angeline disillusionment with his experience in Iraq, Angeline meanwhile tells the young biker legends surrounding those places. Legends that tell of the fact that anyone who has ventured into the dark part of the forest has not looked back…
