Tirana, 1990: the former cycling champion, Ilo, now 50, was commissioned by the government to assemble a team of five young cyclists to represent the country in an amateur race in France. On the way to France, visiting Trieste, and remain dazzled by Western prosperity, when suddenly they discover, through television, that the revolution broke out in their home. Concerned about the safety of their loved ones, they must find a way to return to their country.
