What are you required to do before submitting your application?
A brief presentation, which can also be made online, of the project for which an application for a contribution is planned, is always useful and appreciated by the Film Commission. This serves the purpose of establishing whether the premises exist, most of all in terms of location requests, upon which to build a productive collaboration.
Are there other incentives in Friuli Venezia Giulia?
Thanks to a special fund (Gorizia Fund) provided by the Chamber of Commerce of Venezia Giulia Trieste Gorizia, the GO FILM manifestation of interest has been active since 2022. Its primary objective is the valorisation of the territory of Gorizia through film and audiovisual productions.
It is regulated by specific regulations available at this link and is directed at productions that have been judged eligible (even if not financed) based on the Film Fund call. It requires that at least 50% of the filming performed in Friuli-Venezia Giulia involves the territory of the province of Gorizia. The application form can be downloaded here
In addition, there is also the Regional Audiovisual Fund, which is mainly aimed at supporting local companies and professionals, but which also has a special focus on projects proposed by Production Companies with registered offices outside the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. The sectors of application are Training, Development, and Distribution, and the rules for accessing the Fund are available at www.audiovisivofvg.it
