Also in the second season we return to Caselonghe, an imaginary village in Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is here that we find the protagonist Olivia Mazzuccato (Valentina Bellè) who, at the end of the first season, found herself in a stalemate in her relationship with Francesco (Giuseppe Battiston). Now, things have changed, but not for the better: Francesco, in fact, frequents Silvia (Anna Ferzetti), while the Brulle, or rather Emma (Caterina Baccicchetto) and Viola (Viola Mestriner), Olivia's daughters, have become teenagers, giving hard time for the mother. Olivia continues to juggle between her thousand jobs, but also between her two granddaughters' grandmothers. If with Nadia (Emanuela Grimalda) the relationship had been recovered towards the end of the first season, with Nice (Angela Finocchiaro), the paternal grandmother of the girls, the clash is open. Nice, in fact, returns to the attack and through very loving ways of doing hides an ulterior motive, that is to transform Emma and Viola into two effective members of the Erti-Zignoni family. Oppressed by the need to assert herself, Olivia therefore decides to enroll in night school: her teacher, however, is none other than Silvia, the girl Francesco is dating, who paradoxically becomes her mentor. So, while she has to figure out how to conquer Francesco and "defeat" Silvia, her brother Eros (Riccardo Maria Manera) seems to be ready to love: the young man, after the story with Antonio (Fabrizio Morganti), meets the artist Fabio (Francesco Di Raymond).
