The Space Between is a cross cultural romantic drama set in the spirited northern Italian region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, nestled between the jagged mountainscape, vineyard peppered countryside and electric blue Adriatic sea. The story follows an encounter between Marco, an ex-chef comfortable being uncomfortable and Oliva, a young Australian who is instead uncomfortable being comfortable and decides to shake things up with an impulsive trip to Italy. The two meet at an important cross-roads in a very difficult moment in Marco’s life, ultimately changing each other forever.
