Melanie and Anton Seeberg are happily married. He is a successful software developer on the verge of making it big, she is a happy housewife. Their 16 year-old daughter Stella is still in school, and their 19-year-old son Sebastian is studying law. The only blemish sullying the Seeberg family’s peaceful life is “Grandma”, Melanie’s egomaniacal mother.
When she suffers a stroke, the Seebergs decide, much to the relief of the beleaguered nursing staff, to care forher at home. Little do they know what daily trials and tribulations await when sharing a roof with this malicious old woman.
