When Bruno is in Duša's company, he feels a sweet "relief" that eases his confusion and nostalgia for the past. A past that instead resurfaces strongly when he is alone, and pushes him to flee the rest home. He wishes in vain to return to his home, to his wife and dog, who unfortunately are no longer there. A somewhat particular love story on the notes of "Non ho l'età" by Gigliola Cinquetti, a memory of youth that unites the two protagonists.
