Captain Vinciguerra leads a handful of soldiers on a mission in the Balkans to capture a war criminal, a fugitive from the end of the conflict in the former Yugoslavia. What the Captain can not imagine is having to face his mission alongside his worst enemy: his son, a fierce pacifist. In this situation of adventurous coexistence among eaters bears and games of Risk, tanks out of control, dreams of revolution and Che Guevara in crisis, father and son face their personal war.
