Elisabetta is a brilliant young lawyer from Trieste who has just achieved a sensational victory in court, defending and securing the acquittal of a famous university professor accused of sexual assault. When the man, reinstated in society but relegated to the margins of the university, asks her to file a lawsuit against the university, Elisabetta accepts. But something inside her begins to torment her.
As she finds herself once again close to a powerful man accused of abuse, her personal past resurfaces violently.
