Fiori sopra l’inferno, first work by Friulian Ilaria Tuti (Longanesi editions) will become a TV series thanks to Publispei. The production company led by Verdiana Bixio bought the rights to make an international co-production. The novel, which has already been sold in 22 countries, is a thriller set in a small town in the Friulian Dolomites, Travenì, where Commissioner Teresa Battaglia works: «She is not a simple character but a woman who enters the soul, a courageous person capable to go beyond one’s fragility and fears as only women can do. We chose to work on this subject because it represents the very essence of our way of being, of how the difficulties that life confronts us should be faced with strength and determination», declared the president of Publispei, Verdiana Bixio.
