The last eight years of the life of Umberto Boccioni, the figurative artist best known of the Futurist avant-garde movement, among the drafters of the famous “Manifesto of Futurist Painters” in 1910, died on 17 August 1916, just 33 years, falling from his horse during a military exercise in Verona.
