Established in the year 2000 as one of the first in Italy, FVGFC has been managing a Production Fund – called FVG Film Fund – since 2003, the first institute of its kind in Italy, created to finance filming activities carried out in Friuli Venezia Giulia, with the aim of increasing, but at the same time selecting, the economic spin-off of audiovisual productions in the Region.
The establishment of the Film Fund in FVG represents a real turning point in the national audiovisual industry. Today, most film commissions have similar instruments.
One of FVGFC’s strengths, recognised by Italian and international producers and executive producers, is the preparation and experience of its management, which spans over twenty years and allows us to better manage all those issues and critical problems that every production has to deal with, both from a bureaucratic and logistical point of view.
