The two, an electronic expert and a librarian, share their maladjustment made of isolation and misunderstanding of modern society. In each other they find a special comfort that encourages them to imagine visions of a possible future, worlds of sustainability and ecology a stone’s throw from the present. And it is precisely from the enthusiasm of their meeting that the project for a biodynamic farm in Friuli was born. They can finally prove to themselves and to the world that they are able to build something: they therefore decide to put all their possessions together to make their dream come true which, however, turns out to be much more complex than it seemed in their theoretical vision. A spiral of unexpected mishaps and mistakes will surprise them trying in vain to discourage them. The encounter with the peasant world, the cruelties of nature and the countryside lead them to a dimension between the sublime and the tragic, the comic and the moving.
